Middle Modi Hydro Power Project (18 MW): Districts, Gandaki Zone of Western Development. The electricity generated from this plant will be connected to the National Grid at the Modi Khola Power Plant Sub Station through a 4km long 132kV single circuit transmission line. The total net energy production will be 79.12GWh annually
Dudhkoshi-5 Hydro Power Project (110 MW):Dudhkoshi-5 Hydro Power Project is a run-off river project identified and studied by the Department of Electricity Development (DOED), Government of Nepal (GoNThe Dudh Koshi-5 Hydropower Project is located in Mapya Dudhkoshi Gaunpalika of Solukhumbu District, Province #1 of Federal Republic of Nepal. The Project is basically a run-of-river type scheme having an installed capacity of 110 MW with the design discharge of 52.46 m3/s at Q40 exceedance of flow and available gross head of 258.09 m. The headworks site is located about 300 meters downstream from the confluence of Thane Khola and Dudhkoshi River. The total headrace tunnel length is 6114.02 m from the headrace inlet to the surge tank. Tailwater from the powerhouse located below Kaku village about 200 m upstream of the proposed Dudh Koshi -5 Hydropower Project will be released to the Dudhkoshi river. The power generated from this project will be connected to the Integrated National Power System (INPS) at
Dudh- Koshi 4 Hydropower Project through 5.8 km long 132 kV transmission line. The project will generate an annual energy of 618.80 Gwh where Dry Season Energy is 100.39 Gwh and Wet Season Energy is 518.49 Gwh.
